July 7 - 13: SALAD DAYS! - Learn all about the vegetables in your salad as well as some you hadn’t even considered
July 15 - 20: ARTS & FLOWERS IN THE GARDEN - Children will have the opportunity to create a garden painting of their own as well as learn about the beauty of flowers, vegetables and herbs. Children will be invited to leave their unique masterpiecesfor display in our Kids Art Gallery throughout the week.
July 22 - 27: WIGGLY WORMS! - No garden would be complete without these long and legless creature! Come meet the worms!
July 29 - Aug 3: DRAGONS & DAMSELS - Learn more about the dragon(flies) and damsel(flies) that live in the garden
Aug 5 - Aug 10: LET IT SNOW! - Yes, we know it’s August but what better way to cool off than to learn about SNOW!
Programs take place at 10:45 am, 1 pm and 4 pm, Wednesday - Saturday and 1 pm and 4 pm on Sundays.
Family Passholders of the Highfield Discovery Garden are invited to a special after hours Art Event. Children will have the opportunity to create art a several different stations and visit our Children’s Art Gallery while enjoying playtime with our members. Friday, July 18 at 6:30pm. Cost is $5.00 per child (adults attend for free at this event). Advance reservations required as space is limited.
